During a puzzling period of time due to my most recent move to New York, I still hadn’t found a way to digest what stood before me. The world was a caricature that made my widest lens feel small. When ideating how I would translate these large-scale images in my head, I knew a single photo wasn’t going to be enough. Manual panorama photo-collages was a much more appealing idea, though. These playful panoramas were pieced together from my Permethrin-prepped bed and remain tainted by fresh in-the-moment takes of romantic visions, first beach days, and early New York collaborations. Acting in the moment makes Puzzles an experimental diary of imagery to reflect on for years to come.
