Jorden De Leon is 20 years old, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Through an artist’s academy from a young age, De Leon was able to experiment with many forms ranging from performance, visual, digital media, and more. His fascination with editorial and fashion was always present but only started to manifest his own forms when he got older. Bold, avant-garde concepts with personal nostalgic blends are common themes in De Leon’s work. There’s a fixation on the glamorization of the mundane and the beauty of the ordinary. In a way, it’s romantic at times. His artistic philosophy lies between being a response politically and personally. The combination of fixation and philosophy births unusual and specific themes underlying his editorial work. De Leon is currently a freelance stylist in New York.
